Main Street Holds Façade Grant
Presentation for Pizaz

The Main Street McDonough Program held a Façade Grant Presentation on Friday, July 16, for Pizaz located on the McDonough Square, 31Griffin Street.  Those gathered for the presentation include: (L-R); Wendy Andzeski; June Duke; Councilmember Wayne Smith; owner Mitzi Carr; Mayor Billy Copeland; and Main Street Director Linda Schenk.  “I love the Square and the community,” said Carr.  “I love being a part of such a great town.”

The Façade Grant Improvement Program is a reimbursement grant offered to businesses and commercial property owners located within the Main Street District. Through this program, applicants may be reimbursed up to 50% of the cost of improved renovations not to exceed a maximum amount of $1000 for an exterior front and $500 for an exterior rear renovation per applicant. Funds are provided by the Main Street McDonough Program, and reimbursements are based on availability of funds.

Pizaz opens at 11am, Tuesday through Saturday and is a fashionable ladies’ boutique specializing in ladies apparel, accessories, and handbags.  Owner Mitzi Carr invites the ladies to stop by and turn that wardrobe from drab to fab.  For more information or to schedule a personal shopping date call 678-565-4040.
