McDonough to Host Inaugural Geranium Jam

(McDonough, GA) Summer nights in McDonough, Ga are something to enjoy outdoors -- with neighbors, family and friends. Add some great music on-stage, scrumptious food and cool beverages that will make for a great evening listening to your favorite tunes - including the headliner band, Drivin N Cryin, entertaining with a little Rock N Roll. Live music will also be performed by Highway 55, a country band, followed by Bogey & the Viceroy playing Motown and R&B. “There will be something for everyone!” Jennifer Price, McDonough Hospitality & Tourism Board Director exclaims. The inaugural event will follow the 35th Annual Geranium Festival, which continues to draw visitors from all over. The Geranium Jam outdoor concert will compliment the festival, entertaining into the night. “Concert goers can purchase VIP Tables, or bring their own blankets and chairs for lawn seating.” says Linda Schenk, McDonough Main Street Program Director. There will be local food and cool beverages available, or attendees are welcome to bring a picnic and cooler for the night. “The excitement the new outdoor concert is receiving so far is great.
